Choose a spread for your question

Lunar Arcana offers seven layouts, from a Daily Draw to the Celtic Cross, Relationship, Horseshoe, and Seven-Card Temple spreads. A single card offers one focused prompt; a three-card layout can compare past, present, and future or explore how two influences combine. Larger spreads give each card a position, so the same card can speak differently depending on its role.

The spread guide explains four common layouts and what each position is intended to explore. Choose a layout that fits the question rather than drawing more cards than you need.

Read cards in context

Before drawing, write one clear question. Reveal the cards, note whether each is upright or reversed, and consider the card's position before combining the meanings. A reversed card is not automatically a bad result; the deck's upright and reversed keywords offer different angles for reflection.

The Thoth card reference includes descriptions, correspondences, and upright and reversed study meanings. Use it to look up an unfamiliar card instead of relying on a single keyword.

Use interpretation as a prompt, not a verdict

After revealing the cards, you can request an AI-assisted interpretation based on your question, spread positions, card names, and reversals. Treat the result as a starting point for your own thinking—not as a guaranteed forecast or a substitute for medical, legal, financial, or safety advice.
